ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Pilgrim, is a 58 foot sailing yacht, which inherently comes with some accessibility challenges. However, we do our best to overcome these challenges wherever we can.

​Things to consider are as follows:
  • There are steps to access the vessel. Assistance is provided.
  • There are a couple of small steps on board to access the seating area. Assistance is provided.
  • The toilets are accessed via steep steps below decks.
  • We go sailing and we need to communicate safety information with our guests throughout the cruise. 
  • We go sailing and the boat will lean while we are sailing.

  • Do you cater for people with allergies and intolerances
Yes, please advise at time of booking and we will do our best to adjust the menu to suit your needs.

  • Do you welcome and assist people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour?
Yes, on all our cruises with the exception of our Racing options which requires significant physical and mental alertness to participate.

  • Do you cater for people with vision impairment?
We welcome guests with vision impairment and can provide assistance in getting onto Pilgrim and seat you in a nice comfortable spot.

  • Do you cater for people with hearing impairment or who are part of the Deaf community
We welcome guests with hearing impairment or member of the Deaf Community and can provide assistance in getting onto Pilgrim and seat you in a nice comfortable spot.

  • Do you cater for people with limited mobility?
Our pick up location is at Magnetic Island Marina, which has a ramps to access the boat. Once at the boat, there are some steps to access the vessel.  The crew will provide assistance getting on the vessel but a small amount of mobility is required.

  • Do you cater for people who use a wheelchair?
Our pick up location is Rose Bay Public Wharf or Magnetic Island Marina, both locations have ramps to access the boat. Once at the boat, there are some steps to access the vessel.  The crew will provide assistance getting on the vessel but a small amount of mobility is required unless the guest is light enough to be able to be carried (e.g. a child).

  • Do you cater for people with high support needs who travel with a carer?
We welcome guests with high support needs who travel with a carer.
