WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Your Full Moon Cruise begins at Magnetic Island Marina, Nelly Bay. One of the crew will meet you on the Pepper's Blue on Blue restaurant deck and show you to Pilgrim, the beautiful 58-foot sailing yacht.
The Cruise:
After a full briefing to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe, we'll head out of the marina and hoist the sails. Once under sail, you’ll kick back and enjoy the scenery and the sailing. The cruise around Cleveland Bay will depend on the wind (strength and direction). The skipper will ensure that it is the most comfortable ride for the prevailing conditions and will also line the boat up for the perfect view of the sun setting over Magnetic Island and the moon rising over the ocean - simply magic!
During the cruise, you’ll enjoy a locally-sourced antipasto platter served with a range of Tamburlaine Organic Wines, locally brewed beers from the Townsville Brewery, and soft drinks.
After around an hour, the sun will be starting to set and the sky will light up in beautiful colours, presenting the perfect opportunity for some photos. Shortly after this you’ll be presented with another spectacle of the full moon rising over the ocean.
A few important things to note:
• The cruise times change each month depending on the sunset and the moonrise times. Please check when booking
• Please remember we are not in control of the weather, clouds may limit the visibility of the moon rise and/or the sunset. We cannot guarantee perfect conditions, however, we will do our best to ensure you enjoy a beautiful evening on the water with sailing, good food, and wine.
• If you are allergic to anything or have special dietary requirements - please advise at the time of booking, we will do our best to accommodate.

Meeting location
Please meet on the Peppers Blue on Blue deck, next to the car ferry ramp in Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island. One of your crew will meet you there and show you to the boat. Look out for someone in a white "Pilgrim Sailing" shirt!
After the cruise Pilgrim will return to the same location.
Directions to meeting spot
When disembarking the ferry, turn left immediately (before the terminal building). Hug the foreshore walking across the car ferry ramp to Peppers Blue on Blue, which is just after the ferry ramp. You'll see tables, chairs and umbrellas on the Peppers restaurant deck area, we will meet you on this deck. See detailed map here.
