- Pilgrim Sailing Pty Ltd trading as Pilgrim Sailing or Pilgrim Adventures reserves the right to make subtle changes to the cruises or charters
- Dietary requirements must be requested at the time of booking
- Pilgrim Sailing Pty Ltd trading as Pilgrim Sailing or Pilgrim Adventures reserves the right to change or cancel your booking in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control
- If change or cancellation prove necessary, we will give you reasonable notice based on the circumstances and will offer you a comparable alternative.
- If an alternative is not available or acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund or a credit.
- Pilgrim Sailing Pty Ltd trading as Pilgrim Sailing or Pilgrim Adventures is not responsible for the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellation or rescheduling of a cruise.
- Minimum numbers apply for all our cruises as follows:
- Sunset Cruises – there is a minimum of four guests
- Lunchtime Cruises – there is a minimum of six adults
- Pilgrim Adventures - there is a minimum of two adults
- If the minimum numbers are not met, we will notify you and provide a full refund or offer a reschedule.
- There is no minimum number for a Private Charter, we just have a minimum charge which equates to 10 guests.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking for Sunset Cruises, Lunchtime Cruises & Pilgrim Adventures experiences and a 25% deposit is required for all Private Charters.
- We may use photographs or videos of you and your guests for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not agree to our use of any photographic or video image of you or your guests, you must tell us before the commencement of your event.
- Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
- By the payment of the deposit (in the case of private charters) or full payment in the case of cruises you are agreeing to the release & indemnity statement below.
WET WEATHER/STRONG RAIN POLICY & PROCESS:
On days when the weather may pose a challenge to our experiences we will communicate with you during the day of the cruise only (not the day before as forecasts that far out can be very inaccurate and we could end up making the wrong decision).
Our process for Sunset Cruises/Charters is:
- If we have any concerns about the weather, we will contact you around 11am on the day of the cruise to let you know our thoughts - this may be to cancel or to let you know we are monitoring conditions.
- We will let you know around 3pm if we need to cancel due to strong winds. We will consider the forecast and the real-time conditions in our decision and consideration is given to ensure you have a good day out.
Our process for Lunchtime Cruises/Private Day Charters is:
- If we have any concerns about the weather, we will contact you the night before the cruise to let you know our thoughts - this may be to cancel or to let you know we are monitoring conditions.
- We will let you know by 9am if we need to cancel due to strong winds. We will consider the forecast and the real-time conditions in our decision and consideration is given to ensure you have a good day out.
Our process for Pilgrim Adventures Experiences:
Due to the nature of these experiences, the weather (in particular wind and swell) may change the way we can provide your experience. In these circumstances we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to advise you of any changes we need to make to ensure your safety and the safety of the vessel and crew.
A full refund or reschedule (wherever possible) is available in the event of cancellation due to extreme weather.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation Policy for Sunset Cruises, Lunchtime Cruises & Pilgrim Adventures experiences:
- Free cancellations up to 48 hours before the cruise.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of event will incur a full payment of account unless due to extreme weather exceptions as declared by the captain on the day of the cruise.
Cancellation Policy for Private Charters:
- Cancellations up to 7 days before the cruise will incur a 10% cancellation fee, which is deducted from your deposit.
- Cancellations within 7 days of event will incur a full payment of account unless due to extreme weather exceptions as declared by the captain on the day of the charter.
- Reschedule requests will be considered but are entirely at the discretion of Pilgrim Sailing and charges may occur.
Process for cancellation by you:
For any cancellations, please request in writing to [email protected]and provide the following information:
- Booking Name
- Booking Reference
- Refund or Reschedule
- Reason for cancellation
* this is not applicable for cancellations instigated by Pilgrim Sailing as a result of extreme weather (see above).
