SAILING, SUNDOWNERS & LOCAL CHEESES
Join us on board a beautiful 58-foot yacht for a sunset sail in Cleveland Bay. Enjoy the magic of sailing while you sip Australian organic wines or premium local beers, nibble on our hand-selected cheese platter. 

What's Included?
  • 1.5 hour - 2 hour sail in Cleveland Bay
  • Unlimited local beers, Australian organic wines or soft drinks
  • Local cheese platter with accompaniments​
  • Optional extra: return Sealink ferry tickets from Townsville (select ex-Townsville option)
  • Optional extra: two course dinner package at the Boardwalk Restaurant at Peppers Blue on Blue (Sip, Sail & Dine).

Meeting Point:
  • Magnetic Island: Peppers Blue on Blue Resort, Nelly Bay - on the deck outside the restaurant.

Sunset Cruise Times
  • Cruise times vary throughout the year to align with sunset. The cruise will start between 4.30 pm and 5.45 pm depending on the time of year.  Please refer to the booking calendar for the specific schedule. Guests are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the cruise begins.

THE ITINERARY:
  • You'll be met on the Peppers Deck by one of our crew. Times vary throughout the year.
  • The crew will show you to the boat and make sure you're comfortable on board before departing the marina.
  • Once the sails are up you'll be served a selection of local wines, beers and soft drinks followed by a local cheese platter.
  • Relax as we sail along and enjoy the sun setting on another day in paradise.

  • From $129 per person
  • Please note there is a $10pp supplement on Fridays, Saturdays & Public Holidays

Prices include the environmental management charge of $4 per person.

Minimum 4 guests | Maximum 12 guests (mixed groups)

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Your Sip & Sail Sunset Cruise begins at Magnetic Island Marina, Nelly Bay. One of your crew will meet you on the Pepper's Blue on Blue deck and show you to Pilgrim, the beautiful 58-foot sailing yacht.

THE CRUISE
After a full briefing to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe, we'll head out of the marina and hoist the sails. 

Once under sail, you will enjoy wines from a selection of Tamburlaine Organic Wines, including Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling,  Rose and a Moscato. Alternatively, for non-wine drinkers, there is the locally brewed beer from the Townsville Brewery, non-alcoholic options. All drinks are unlimited and included in the price.

The route of the sailing cruise in Cleveland Bay will depend on the wind (strength and direction); the skipper will ensure that it is the most comfortable ride for the prevailing conditions. Your skipper, Paul or Clayton, will also line the boat up for the perfect view of the sun setting over Magnetic Island - make sure your cameras are ready!

Once the sun has set, we will lower the sails and motor back into Nelly Bay Harbour in time for your dinner plans.
