Departing from Townsville, your journey begins with a breath taking flight over the city’s coastline and the sparkling waters of Cleveland Bay, before soaring above Magnetic Island’s golden beaches, coral-fringed bays, and rugged granite headlands. Touching down on the island, step aboard Pilgrim for a relaxed lunchtime sail to one of Magnetic’s secluded anchorages. Swim in crystal-clear waters, lounge on the oversized inflatable mat, or simply unwind on deck with a cool drink in hand. A fresh seafood lunch and complimentary beverages complete this unforgettable day in paradise.

At the end of the cruise, return to Townsville by ferry — or linger longer and explore more of Magnetic Island at your leisure.

The Scenic Flight

Your 20-minute scenic flight departs over Townsville's waterfront and picturesque Cleveland Bay before taking in the pristine beaches, turquoise waters and fringing reefs that surround this laid back island paradise. On touchdown at Magnetic Island, you'll join the Lunchtime Sailing Cruise to one of the islands many secluded bays.

 At Anchor: Choose Your Own Adventure

You’ll have around an hour to unwind and enjoy the setting before lunch is served. Take this time to do as much—or as little—as you like:

• Stretch out on a comfortable beanbag and soak up the tropical sunshine

• Swim in the clear turquoise waters surrounding the island

• Float on the oversized inflatable mat with a cool drink in hand

• Wander the beach and spot local wildlife along the shoreline

• If you're an experienced snorkeler, feel free to bring your own gear — if conditions allow, you may have the chance to explore the fringing reef

A Delicious Local Lunch

Lunch is one of the highlights of the cruise — a generous, beautifully presented grazing platter thoughtfully prepared by Clare and the crew, celebrating the fresh flavours of North Queensland.
