What to Expect
Your Circumnavigate Magnetic Island adventure begins at the Magnetic Island Marina in Nelly Bay, where your personal skipper will welcome you aboard our small, fast 5.2m RIB boat. Purpose-built for adventure, this is your private ticket to explore every corner of the island — including places that even locals rarely see.
After a quick safety briefing and a chat about what you’re most excited to experience, we’ll set off on a five-hour journey around the island’s entire coastline. Along the way, we’ll point out iconic landmarks like the shipwrecked S.S. City of Adelaide, Orchard Rocks, and Five Beach Bay, while weaving in stops to swim, snorkel, and relax on some of the most remote beaches you’ll ever find.
What You Can Do Along the Way
· Swim or snorkel at up to three pristine, off-the-beaten-track spots
· Explore hidden coves and untouched beaches
· Spot turtles, sea eagles, and other island wildlife, including whales in season
· Take in famous sights like the S.S. City of Adelaide and Five Beach Bay
· Enjoy both a picnic and morning tea, island-style
Morning Tea & Gourmet Picnic
We’ll pause mid-journey for a light morning tea of yummy chocolate brownies or similar. Later, we’ll set up a gourmet picnic on a quiet beach, where you’ll graze on local prawns, cheeses, cured meats, and tropical fruit, all served with fresh baguette and your choice of cold drink. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and indulgence.

If you are travelling from Townsville, our charter times are aligned to the SeaLink ferry timetable and we can package in the ferry tickets to make the transfer from Townsville seamless.
Add the ferry tickets as an extra when booking and we’ll email you the tickets the day before your event.

Magnetic Island: Peppers Blue on Blue Resort, Nelly Bay - on the deck outside the Boardwalk Restaurant.
Ex-Townsville: Please catch the Sealink ferry from the Breakwater Terminal and then head to the meeting point at Peppers Blue on Blue Resort. Your ferry tickets will be emailed to you the day before the experience.

During the cooler winter months, if you’re planning to spend some time in the water, we have thermal shield rash tops to hire which will keep you toasty warm. If you don’t we recommend you bring something warm to wear in between swims.
