Listed below are the best methods of transport to use to ensure you see the best of Magnetic Island during your stay. By Foot There are many beautiful walking tracks on the island of all lengths and difficulty. The Forts Walk and Hawkins Point trail continue to be the most visited (and rightfully so!). Rent out a classy convertible mini or a topless car from Isle Hire or a funky jeep from MI Rentals. By Boat Obviously, this one is our preference! There are many beaches on the island which are only accessible by boat, but Pilgrim Sailing and Pilgrim Adventures should have you covered here. For the diving enthusiasts, book a trip with Adrenalin Dive to the outer Great Barrier Reef for a scuba dive or a snorkel. Highlights in the region are the SS Yongala, one of the top 10 dive sites in the world, and the new Museum of Underwater Art. The Museum of Underwater Art features a dive site (The Coral Greenhouse) and a snorkel site (The Ocean Sentinels).
